CYIOS provides Government agencies with network engineering, systems integration, performance management and intrusion management solutions. We have experience with integration of legacy DoD and Army systems, Army Knowledge Online and the rules, policies and procedures that govern the technology. CYIOS' application solutions use the latest and greatest technologies. We use ASP, VB, C# and .NET to build three tier architecture (user interface, middleware, backend database) using Microsoft SQL Server database design and optimization, integrating with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange securely using encryption through PKI technologies: CAC, Secure Sockets Layer, public and private keys.


ASSET / INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

CYIOS creates custom Asset and Inventory Management solutions that can enable your agency or organization to centrally manage its entire computer population, including mobile and remote assets. Solutions can include but are not limited to tracking hardware and software inventory and ensure license compliance; automatic detection of unauthorized software and hardware installations; the monitoring of machines for asset changes; creating predefined alerts to manage users to ensure they are operating within corporate policy; and track machines as they change hands or move around within the organization. In addition, CYIOS’ customized reports can be electronically transferred to most accounting systems. Specialized reports can be created to allow your organization to plan and budget for system upgrades, migrations, or even machine retirement.


ENCRYPTION / SMART CARDS / PKI

CYIOS offers its engineering and business leadership experience to organizations who require complex technical solutions to integrate smartcard authentication into an existing infrastructure. CYIOS engineers implemented two-factor smartcard authentication for the senior leadership of the US Army, which enabled Army staff to authenticate remotely through a Virtual Private Network (VPN) and standard modems with existing hardware and software. The solution was first implemented in the Headquarters, Department of the Army and now has extended to worldwide usage throughout the Army. Knowledge Management initiatives in Government continue to emerge with the Federal Knowledge Management market expected to grow from $965 million in FY 2005 to $1.3 billion in FY 2010 (source: INPUT). The Federal Chief Information Officers Council established the Knowledge Management Working Group as an interagency body to bring the benefits of the government's intellectual assets to all Federal organizations, customers, and partners (www.kmgov.com). REMOTE ACCESS W/ CITRIX

CYIOS has the knowledge and experience required to design, deploy, and support enterprise level Citrix solutions that enable secure remote access to corporate data and applications. CYIOS remote access solutions are tailored by certified Citrix experts to meet exact customer requirements to include customized security needs, such as smartcard authentication (e.g. Army Common Access Card) and thin client usage. STREAMING VIDEO W/ MS WINDOWS MEDIA

CYIOS offers a turnkey Microsoft Windows Media solution to support your agency’s local and global streaming video needs. As a Microsoft Certified Partner with a staff of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers, CYIOS provides the technical expertise to design, develop and deliver a multilingual Windows Media system for a small office or large enterprise. This includes procurement recommendations and assistance, collaboration with onsite technical staff including train-the-trainer sessions, and systems integration with existing hardware and software. CYIOS program managers and quality assurance specialists supply the business management controls to ensure the project and tasks are tracked; clear documentation is furnished; and all milestones, deliverables, and metrics are met. TELEWORKING / ALTERNATIVE WORKPLACE

CYIOS offers agencies and organizations a Teleworking solution with its product CYIPRO, which can be used out of the box or can be customized to meet your organizational needs. CYIOS’ Teleworking solution enables remote staff to gain access to the same information as staff in the primary office, including email, files, calendar schedules, and projects. Whether using Citrix, a Virtual Private Network (VPN), or directly on the DoD NIPRNET, teleworkers access to their virtual office will be available through a Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) page in their Web browser from any computer with Internet connectivity. CYIOS’ CYIPRO supports the GSA's teleworking policy for all of the Alternative Working Arrangements (AWA) including telecommuting, hoteling, virtual offices, telework centers, and hot desking.


VIRTUALIZATION W/ VMWARE

CYIOS offers proven expertise in the enterprise-wide design and deployment of VMware, the leading vendor of server consolidation / virtualization software. VMware can be used to deploy virtual desktops and servers for both testing and production environments. CYIOS engineers have the experience necessary to help customers minimize their overall hardware requirements and reduce existing physical space. To that end, CYIOS’ HP Master Accredited Systems Engineers may design and implement VMWare in conjunction with HP blade servers to gain further consolidation efficiencies. Many enterprise customers are utilizing VMware on blades in an effort to virtualize all IT services. CYIOS is eager to help with the creation and execution of any virtual strategy.
